Biodiesel Supercar

After 8 years in the making, the Trident Inceni, a UK "supercar," will hit the roadand it'll be fueled by biodiesel. Trident has changed certain features on the car over the last 8 years, but the version that'll be revealed at a U.K. Event in June, an event that features performance automobiles from Formula One race cars of the 1950s to tanks and copters. "The Cholmondeley Festival of Power is the U.K.'s largest party of power and speed, but that does not imply that new, green technology will go ignored," stated the event organizers. And it could be hard to disregard the Trident Inceni car. The biodiesel super car can reach two hundred miles per hour and it can cover a hundred miles on a single gallon.

The Biodiesel automobile is a two-seat, high tech sports car that uses a 6.6-liter V8 turbodiesel engine that permits the automobile to go from nil to sixty miles per hour in under four seconds. The Inceni, the company claims, can also run on any mix of biodiesel, all of the way to B100, and on a full tank the car can travel virtually two thousand miles. "The excellent fuel economy is attained thru patent protected technology called torque multiplication," Trident announced, a technology that creates larger torque during times of high slippage in the gears, and permits the Biodiesel automobile to idle at two thirds lower than a normal car, helping to enhance the potency of the car. The event in June will happen at Cholmondeley Castle in Malpas, Cheshire, and last year the event was noted as the Best Visitor Event in Cheshire. While tickets for the event will run approximately $20, to buy the Trident Inceniand with it the car's capability to run on B100 and travel two thousand miles on a single tankwill cost $150,000.

In 2009, Nokia ran a collection of short programs called Capsule N96, one of which displayed the Inceni. The show's host noted the Biodiesel car was "as light as a feather" but "solid as a rock," adding the automated gear box for the automobile sat in the back of the car with the V8 in the front.
